Hyperlocal Twitter Tools
The hyperlocal drill down is underway and a number of twitter directories are quickly moving to cover the hyperlocal realm. Here is a listing of some new services which will help you tweet hyperlocal and stay connected in real time with the hyperlocal beat in your tweethood.. or tree.
If you read my blog Five Elements to Hyperlocal Success You will see that two key elements to hyperlocal success are Community Based User Generated Content and a Strong Mobile Phone Capacity. Twitter is right on track with both of these key elements. Tweet Media Syndication seems entirely possible and the ability to tie in private tweet sales networks seems possible as well. We just need to be able to have multiple tweet lists to follow within one account and then I think we will be in tweet heaven. Think about it as your different trees you might fly to. Social circles can revolve around work, church, school, sports, hobbies and more. Thanks Twitter, Keep up the good work!!

Pretty good local Twitter search tool.
You know, I hadn’t thought about the idea of local tweeting using local resources. You can have your own News Team that covers events and other things.
You are entirely right about needing Cell Phone access. Otherwise, it’s just a dead issue. Actually, to me, Twitter would be semi-pointless without Cell access.
Way to open up other’s minds!
Thanks,
Michael
