LocalsGuide founder and CEO Shields Bialasik has announced that he will be transforming his hyper-local newspaper ‘LocalsGuide’ into a micro-franchise opportunity.

Giving people around the country an opportunity at getting their foot in the door at launching their very own community newspaper.The paper will be supported by an online network of web2print community portals which generate the content for the monthly publications.

The network will then be tied together with online support forums allowing editors of the newspaper franchise to discuss and share ideas, tips and content.

Estimated launch for the project has been set for November 2009 with pre-launch sign-up currently open for interested individuals.
