Professional Social Networking

Thanks to technology I am sitting outside here today on my hammock typing and updating hyperlocal1o1. I want to take a brief moment now to provide everyone with a little update on what I’ve been working on and how things are going.

To begin with Hyperlocal101 continues to grow, despite the fact that I had to basically take the last three months to build out the entire online network for FMTown.com (Functional Medicine Town – A professional social network for practitioners of Functional Medicine from around the world)

FMTown is actually the 4th large scale community site which I have developed. It takes the best of all elements of my experience and ties them together into what I am describing as a social learning center. The website runs the best features of any social networking site while integrating online learning for medical practitioners from around the world.

The project began in January this year… that is when we pushed the go button.
We then worked intensively for the next six months to create and develop all materials around launching the site.

About six weeks ago we launched the community along with our online training center to a great success. We currently have around 650 site members and growing every day. This is just the start of the story, but since I am on vacation right now relaxing I will need to update you with more in a bit.

I want to thank everyone for the continued interest and support around my work. Over the next few weeks I will begin to share more about the creation of this niche community, in specifics some of the more detailed aspects of managing and running and monetizing the community.

An additional note is that as you can also see the website is in the process of being updated.. so hang in there and I should have this done shortly.
